How do you know if you are a poker addict

What are the first signs that says you have an addiction.

I guess as for any addiction when you stop doing the normal daily living routines you can classify as an addiction, but to be great you have to practice and practice.

If you cant quit when your on tilt or a downswing. If you just play to win and not for fun, and you cant stop, your addicted. hope i helped

I think there is a sign of addiction when you neglect your friends and your are just thinking about playing poker. You should have a balance in your life with everything including poker!

Like with any drug or thing you can be addicted to, i think everything is ok in moderation but once the thing begins to control you then you have an addiction problem. When poker overrides daily life you have an addiction in other words.

When your wife and kids leave you. The dog moves in with the Foxes. The next door neighbour complains about a foul body odour smell. Your fingers and teeth are so badly nicotined stained they glow in the dark and you have a lump in your boxers from a three week old turd. Only then can you say you are addicted...

i think you are a poker addict when you spend lot of time playing missing you daily obligations like studying for college or working and also when you invest lot of money on poker that you may need for important things like paying your rent department or your monthly shopping.
