To be serious about this, you need to devote at least 6-8 hours every day to poker, five to six days a week.

Cash games are about 3 minutes for a hand.
SNG games are about 30 minutes for 9 seats players.

You have to play as long as you feel good at the game table, as long as you enjoy it, you don't have to get very tired just for the sake of playing, you don't achieve very high performances if you get tired physically and mentally.

It depends on what goals you pursue. If you want to become a professional player, then you should fully delve into poker and live it even during your lunch break). If you play for fun-then I think you can play for a couple of hours. But training requires maximum effort and time from you.And in general, time matters in poker.Don't waste it.Good luck friend!

Intellectual game, and a person engaged in intense mental activity must sleep at least 8 hours a day if he is younger than 35 years old, and at least 6-7 hours a day at the age of 35 years. So it's enough to decide how much to spend a couple of hours on the game.

I spend as much time on poker as I have free time. In short, I can play no more than 2-3 hours a day.

It all depends on what poker you are playing
If you are playing big tournaments then you need to allow a minimum of 5-6 hours
But if you’re just playing cash games then you can play for as short as a time you like

Lot of time

When everything is going well in a tournament it takes an average of 6-7 hours ... that's a lot of time per week.

if you are playing cash you should play sessions of 3 to 4 hours but regarding tournaments it is difficult to predict since they could last up to more than 7 or 8 hours

I would say constantly study and play for 5 out of 7 days for 4 hours. That way you can practice any situation that comes your way.

8 hours but less a day, and 25% of that time for study is ideal, each person will have their times for different circumstances, it can be combined in different ways, but it works like that for me, a day off etc.:jd4::jd4::jd4::jd4:
