Unfortunately, I have had little time for poker for some time. About 3-5 hours which is very little for tournaments. If my time allows it can be 7-9 hours, on weekends

I play for more than 12 hours, if I have a bankroll, but the most optimal time for me, I think it is 6 hours, then I can play weaker more mistakes and the like

Its depends on the day but most days are 2 to 3 hours when I play. I am mostly a tournament players. A short bad day is under a hour. A good day is 3 to 4 hours or more. On a rare occasion I will play 10+ hours but that maybe just 2 or 3 times a year if that.

During the week I play 2 to 4 hours and 2 to 3 days a week.
On the weekend I play a little more than that.

I play basicly anytime I can threwout the day I'm a stay at home guy.
Keeps me outta trouble so now just trying to figure stuff out to pass time and poker seems to do that just fine.

It depends on what goals you pursue. I think you can play for a couple of hours a day.

I play 2-4 hours on weekdays and 6-12 hours on weekends.

Also ebb and flow, and go through periods where I play more or less.
