I would average between 5 to 6 hours per session.

It´s not easy to play correctly if I´m tired after work or house job.
Because each person has the limit to decise thing.
Poker requires us to decise each hand (4 times or more).
Therefore, it makes me tired after games.
About 12 hours if i havent done anything else that day(work, mow the lawn etc)

I can play all day, but I only play well for about 4-6 hours depending on the sleep I had the night before.

I always try and get my session underway not long after I wake up to try and hit it when I'm most relaxed otherwise as someone with ADHD I can find it hard to sit still.

I max out at 5-6 hours. It gets really difficult to focus after 6 hours.

About 2-3 hours in the morning and if there is no work also 2-3 hours in the afternoon of the same day. It all also depends on the success of the tournaments, which can increase or decrease the playing time.:)

For me, there is no specific time frame for the game. It all depends on the desire to play, the free time that I can allocate for the game and the main factor depends on the cards that I receive during the game. That is, I can play for eight hours and the next day twenty minutes. Something like this ;)

About half way through the pandemic, when the pandemic was in full force and everything was shutting down (or already shut down) I was laid off of work. After that I started playing anywhere from 12 to 18 hours a day. I haven't been playing as much lately though.. Maybe 4 to 8 hours a day. Soon I will be returning to work and hope to be able to still play 2 to 6 hours per day.

I can play as much as the games allow. I do have other things to do so I must get my things done. But all in all, I play as much as I am up during the day.

Play every day for 2-3 hours and only when in a good mood. In a bad mood, I never sit down at the table to play:)

I generally play 1 hour sessions, but I can play multiple sessions in a single day. I would probably stop at 3 sessions. Thank god I don't do this for a living.

It depends when the tournament start. The longest my session was about 12 hours but the most I can play some 3 to 4 hours and these is the best for me. Od course if my position is good I dont think about the time:)

I think that each player knows how many hours of playing poker based on his physical and mental abilities.

One to two hours a day is the norm for me. However, I rarely play for 3 or 4 hours.

Yes, I'm an amateur.
I usually just play until my tournaments are not over.
When they do, I leave! or I'm tilted an blow all my bankroll a bit more!

If we talk about cash, then I consider it optimal to play 3-4 zoom tables, two sessions of two hours a day. It is very important, in my opinion, to limit yourself to time frames in order to avoid excuse marathons, like today I will thrash until I won't beat a minus. In my opinion, your poker session should last a maximum of 1-2 hours if you are a beginner player. If you are a professional, then your session may last from 2 to 8 hours, but you will still need to take a few short breaks during it.

For me, it depends a lot on my mood and hobbies. At the moment I see poker as a nice pastime and a tiny extra income. Thus, I play a maximum of 2-3 hours a day but only one tournament and as long as you get ahead there. So if I drop out earlier, I stop even after 10 minutes. And mainly freerolls. If I have won 1000$ through freerolls, I could imagine to play even longer and more often.
So I would say that this is also a self-protection for me not to get into the emotional track anymore, especially when a downswing comes and spoils the mood.
