In my opinion, it depends on how much skill you have at your disposal.

in some moments, we will have to count on luck, but the skill is superior!

According to you, poker is all about luck or skill?

In the short term (less than 10,000 hands) I would say it's around 50/50. Beyond that skill begins to take more and more of an advantage, to the point where eventually Skill is 100% the defining factor.

definitely more skills, depends on what you play, example in turbo, super turbo games, you must count on luck, as well, anyway you never will win, even in deep structure, especially tourneys, you need luck, significant luck to reach FT, top 3.
As I play mtts, plenty turbo, I would say in my case 60-40%

Luck helps you at times, especially at a cash table ... but in tournaments it's very difficult to depend on luck to make it to the big payout. Having said that, I believe that 15% luck 85% skill

Poker is a game of chance. And lucky or unlucky, it depends on the worldview of the person on the world.

A person's idea of luck depends on the tone of their mental projection.

For me personally and this is my personal opinion
Absolute skill. The more skill, the more luck. Luck depends on skill. And it's not just poker-it's also life. My work - my skill - my skill - my luck.

Personally i think skill overrides luck. Now you might seem unlucky or lucky but if you have the skill you will come out on top in the longrun.

In my opinion, in online poker, 70% is luck and 30% is skill, while in live poker the opposite is true.

Luck averages out for everyone theoretically so... 100% skill or 100% button clicking, depending on the end user. Except also we can't be expected to play 100% perfectly so, the question is impossible to answer I think but lies somewhere in-between 0% and 100%

You could be very skilled poker player but without the luck you can not the win a good tournament. So maybe luck is not a major factor but you really need it.

HU poker is skill When evenly match with another player winner determined by luck. I believe there is a computer program that can beat pros now like chess “Blue” can.

A difficult question to answer the way I think you'd like (e.g. 25% luck, 75% skill).
There are elements which are luck and elements which are educated guess and elements which are adherence to a strategy.
I think that when you say skill, you mean adhering to a strategy with adjustments for additional info.
I think that if you have the right strategy, you can almost print money. But it is the adjustments you make to a strategy which exploit another player to your advantage which is skill.
Now for me, I too often stray away from the strategy and start relying on luck.
And that hurts me. Because when I stray, I'm no longer executing my strategy properly...and as many of you know from kicking my ass on the tables...this is when I go from top 10% to bottom 10%. Is that luck or skill? It is bad luck that my skill is insufficient to keep me in line.

Part of the problem here is the question itself. Skill and luck are not completely divorced from one another.

Cheers,
ObbleeXY

Hard to put a definition on this one. Poker is a game of skill and over the long term that will help you win. Short term anything can happen.I played in a tournament series in a casino and lost all 6 time all in pre flop with aces. In back to back tournament I got one outed in monster hands on the river. I also was dealt poker aces back to back twice in a 3 week span at the casino. I have also put some bad beats on people. Again we need to think long term.

When we talk about poker, luck and skill must be in an inseparable relationship for us to have good results. Individually, just luck or just skill doesn’t give the very best results. Don't get me wrong, I really think that skills are a little more important, but without a dose of luck, we will hardly get far.

In my opinion, poker is a skill game. There is luck here, but that's what we call variance. Real abilities in the game will be visible at a distance.
