I wonder how much someone has spent the time and money to bring their first 100 bucks.Write your results honestly and without lies I will be very grateful to anyone who responds!I think everyone is interested to play with biceps!!!

I also started in freerolls and it took about 3 months for me to win and lose my first 100.

Min deposit. It was only ten dollars (US) i think it was.

I spent that, then won 2 dollars on a Freeroll and over time (since being a CC member) turned that into a thousand.

I have never made failed deposits where I've lost actual money. I've NEVER been down money overall at poker :D I played play money for the first few months and then made my first deposit with knowledge of BRM and some idea of how to play. With that said I am up but not really by that much.

According to reports, all players in the PS lose 99%! It is a pity that this option does not work!

Made my first 100 today.. here's how

I decided to buy in at the casino for 500nl, a full stack. I just folded everything oop and only bet when checked to me. Eventually I was dealt KsKd in the sb. I was down to 440 dollars and it was checked to me so I just checked. The flop came Qs8h5d and guy to my right on the button bets $30. I call and turn comes 2s. Villan bets $50 and I call. River comes the scarecard. Qc. Villan bets $75. I stop to contemplate. Do I belive he has a Q on the flop with a bet of $30. No that was a C bet from a lag opponent. Do I belive the $50 bet. Yes that looks exactly like AxQx but the Qc on the river and then a $75 bet was odd. It was only $75 into $190 and I had seen anyone else bet $120, or so, if they were bluffing or had the goods tonight. I think he had another $350. I call and he says while concealing his cards he has 10 high. I flip KK and scoop the pot. I stayed for another rotation and called another limp with 5x5x and a $10 bet with As10s and left with $603. For a 103 profit. A good start at 2/5 500nl

The first big cash was on Full Tilt. I had spent about $1,400 both in a brick and mortar and online. The cash was about $7K so I was net value ahead. I have not played back all of that but am not too far away. The cash out was in 2007.

I just cant seem to win at all. I've spent $200- $300 and cant seem to get passed the outrageous calls and bets people make with nothing for a hand then end up blindly winning it. Aggravation is at max level.

Jmckay , if you have had a bad time with tourny's , try cash tables - they don't usually play bingo there, my experiences with tourny's is the buyin is small so people just don't care and go allin . I have had better luck with cash tables , and spin and go where the people seem to have more respect for the money they pay to play

Been playing for a bit more than a year. Over the first 6 months, I'd say I lost 250$ playing cash games (aiming stupidly at stakes I just couldn't beat with my skills and not following bankroll management). The following months I started grinding 2NL and now 5NL and I'm getting out of the hole I dig, I'm still 125$ under overall but I'm playing much better now, studied a lot. So I consider I need to win 225$ more to achieve this goal! I'll get there, I will take shots at 10NL soon as I now feel I'm ready.

I wouldn't advise a beginner to play 10NL-25NL like I did, DON'T! ;)

Possibly $5K. Perhaps more. Embarassing but true. And I don't want to find out if it's more.
