But seriously, reports of corruption in online poker ARE indeed greatly exaggerrated. Sometimes, you just have to throw caution to the wind!

Going to a casino, I do throw some caution to the wind. There could be muggers outside, or at the table 2 guys in collusion or maybe even a card marker. There are also security measures in place to protect the house, as well as the players.
Online cheating is far more prevalent and it's not limited to higher stakes. Even
freerolls and low buy-ins have cheaters. Me against 9 other players at one live table is one thing. Me against the offshore electronic poker world is quite another - at least it is to me.
The gaming commissions that 'control' online rooms create less caution than I care to relinquish. Absolute got fined what, $500k, for failures in their responsibilities. That wasn't a penalty, it was a joke.
I'll stick with being cautious with my freeroll winnings ...
