I have been playing card games for a long time, since school. But I started playing poker relatively recently, just 4 years ago. Now poker is my favorite card game.

I was actually pretty old the first time i started playing poker. Its actually pretty ridiculous how i got into it. My cousin and I were playing the video game Red Dead Redemption and there is a part in the game where you get to play poker. We spent more time playing poker in the game then we did anything else. I fell in love with it. The very first time i played for real money was at Hollywood Casino in West Virginia. I bought into a $1/$2 game with $100 and ended up leaving with over $800. I had a big hand with ducks, that pot was around $500-$600. I hit a 2 on the flop giving me a set. It ended up being good and the feeling that i got when i scooped those chips was almost better than sex. I still get an incredible feeling whenever i win a big pot. Do you remember your first time playing poker? And do you remember the first time you won a real pot playing poker?

I started playing poker when I was 17 years old, if I remember correctly. But again it was not tournaments and not even online poker, but just friendly games at an ordinary table in the yard with friends, we played for a dollar then, who wins 5 times, he takes the main prize. And then at the age of 19 I learned about such platform as pokerstars and thanks to the quarantine I started to play and develop in this sphere.:icon_bigs

I started playing poker at 58. That's 17 years ago. A friend started up a home game and except for the pandemic, we played almost every week. Starting back to the games in April. Some of us played online during the lockdown in our country and will likely continue once or twice a week.

Started playing in the Air Force, stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Probably 19 or early 20. One of my first games I lost my whole paycheck. Knowing I'd catch hell when I got home, I was at a loss what to do until I saw a mailbox and tossed my wallet into it. When I got home, I told my wife I'd lost my wallet. It showed up in the mail a few days later. I opened it up in front of my wife and said, "Damn, they took all the money." Crisis averted. That was the first, and last, time I've ever lost my whole paycheck. Lesson learned.

I first played poker at a party in Italy when I was 17. I paid 10€ to enter a tournament with around 10 players at an evening with friends. I had never played poker before but somehow won the tournament, most likely out of luck, to the frustration of the player who came in second place :) I left the evening with 100€ !

The first time I played poker for real money was at the age of 36. It was an inexpensive online tournament.

3 years ago, so I was at 30 y.o. in that period of time) A bit late, tho, but I believe that the age is a just number, so I'm indifferent to skepticism bout age)

I started to play poker for real money when I was 26-27 years old. However I just played micro stakes and didn't play much at that time.

I started playing when I was 45 years old. Previously, there was simply no possibility. Although I knew about poker since I was a child thanks to the comedy starring Andriano Celentano “The bluff”.
