Watching my cousin playing online and did not understand anything. Just watching that everybody had 2 cards and then another 5 came to the table and never understood why one of the ninth players grabbed all the chips.

Moneymaker Effect

I started playing just after the Moneymaker Effect took hold on poker. Seeing it on tv for the first time was intriguing to say the least. I loved watching the WPT events that where shown in the early 2000's. I got the itch to play after seeing those shows and formed little home games that where more fun then informative. After a short time I found PartyPoker and started playing online with regularity. I played during the early days of PokerStars, and after awhile formed a solid home game that ran for a few years. I miss playing live tournaments, but I am grateful for the online acton that I can get my hands on.

I started playing poker about 25 years ago in prison actually that where I started we would play 7 card stud and when I got out of prison I played on full tilt and poker stars when it American site but miss those daysame of full tilt poker that's best site I've ever played on you could start with nothing and come up off of free rolls

I started playing poker in high school with my colleagues, there they took their pocket money, they rotated weekly. No matter who wins or loses, no one was upset, beautiful times !! I miss them!

In early January 2014 I was at home on vacation. There was a lot of free time. I got a promo video from PokerStars.
I liked very much how their ambassador was turning cards into a banana and various tricks with chips, Negreanu's bluffs, a tournament in Monaco and much more. And the main thing is that you do not need to go anywhere and you can play at home from your computer and earn some money while enjoying the game. Earn with your brains by showing that you are smarter and more cunning than others.

As a boy (14-15 years) I watched a lot of poker on TV. I was interested in watching but I had never played, until at 18 I decided to learn to play by watching videos, reading and playing with friends who already knew

I started playing poker because of my husband. He used to play 15 or so years ago and after watching him I started playing but I didn't really understand the game so it was more an 'all-in' every hand strategy and hope I get lucky. However, we both didn't really play for long and stopped shortly after.

It wasn't until last November that my husband started to play again and I decided to play also. That was when I really started to learn the game and get more into it. For the next 8 months I played almost non-stop, even played on league a couple times. I did have to take a short break the last few months because I have a new puppy at home to train but I sure did miss playing. So now I am back at it doing what I love to do so much

i was maybe 12 years old when my neighbor took me in bad he had been playing for a long time and he was the one who showed me that of course i didn't understand so i read my internet i played and studied but i don't mind
