guys i know poker since 1986 at school, in 2008, i looked for card games on the internet and i came across poker, more precisely poker sites ... i am still fish but it is the best laser when you have a defined structure and goals. I bet what I can ... not what I don't have ... or that I will be missed

One college friend introduced Poker to my life, back in those days we used to play every weekend for hours, good times indeed.

Thanks to Lockdown..

I have always wanted to learn to play poker for as long as I can remember, probably started when I was watching gangster films on tv as a kid. I loved the idea of a seedy, smokey room, with shadey characters playing poker. But I’ve never known anyone that plays or had anywhere to go to play. But when I got furloughed earlier this year I made it my mission to teach myself. So I started reading up how to play and signed up to a play money site. Started to do okay on that so I tentatively ventured to Ladbrokes poker site and entered their daily free-roll. The day I won 0.53p I was elated.
But I needed more practice and I’d got the bug by now so signed up to the biggies PP/888/PS. So still reading and playing but I would love people to talk to about my game. Sometimes I feel like I’m flailing around and playing terribly and other times I remember everything I’ve read and it all comes together perfectly. I know I need more aggression in my game. Then there’s times everything you’ve read doesn’t fit cos the people your playing aren’t playing the same game, you know those “all-in” types. But I’m still loving it and still learning. But if anyone has any good beginner tips. Please please please let me know....right I’m off to play some more.

It all started with the fact that my friend on the street on the grass spread torn cards and told the combinations. There were no Blinds Ante, etc. just a game of matches. And then I found out about the pokerstars site, found out who Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Liv Boeree are, and weeee goooo. I love poker, although I play mostly only freerolls, since tournaments for money do not allow me to play my financial situation

This is a funny story. I mean not funny, but funny. I started playing poker in jail believe it or not. It was stupid, I got 4 minor-in-possession of alcohol (M.I.P.) before i was 21, legal to drink. All four of them we're literally me being at the wrong place at the wrong time. At least, I thought that way when I was 16. So I got 3 months in jail, and every single one of them days I was grinding it out on poker. I was a natural, as soon as I learned the game and probability how is literally Unstoppable. I had to quit playing the last week I was in there. I literally almost got into like 10 fights because of Poker. Now! Over the past 2 years, I dedicated my studies to the game I reformed my game I play tournaments and I make it to the final table almost every time now. I just have to get my name out there. I am a very aggressive player in the beginning of the game, that's how my strategic order and coordination ended up panning out. I'm aggressive in the first half of the tournament and when my chip stack gets high, I slow it down a bit and that's when I play professionally I don't let any low percentage hands in. Then I usually always make it to the end and now I just need to work on, a three to five person game where everybody's almost equal in stacks but the blinds are high and the chip counts are extremely high I tend to get a little crazy and lose I need to work on that that's it once hi master the game in the end I really believe my mind in the game the sky's the limit I mean just look at me my girlfriend just said what are you writing a novel I can go on forever poker is my life and my wife sorry hun LOL

How I started playing poker

I started playing poker when my only daughter gave me a computer and installed Pokerstars for me as I used to fall asleep on my sofa watching WPT.
I found Mike Sexton and Vince VanPatton's voices very soothing.

A good solution for the empty nest syndrome

I started playing poker three years ago. My friends involved me in this wonderful game. In fact, I started playing poker, thanks to interesting stories told by my friends, some of which were exaggerations. But still, I am glad I have such friends.

I must have been 11 or 12 and all the neighborhood kids would gather and we'd all throw in 5 bucks. It was mayhem. Yelling, absurd bluffs, running home to grab more money, arch rivalries, etc.

Yes on Pokerstars not that long ago, what a surprise. I also recently hit a straight flush twice.

First I saw ads on television, then I went to search the internet for what the game was like and what was its dynamics, then I entered an online game room where I had poker that was worth fictional chips, after practicing for a long time I started playing on real money pokerstars, and so on until today hehehe

Hello.
I started playing poker two years ago. My colleague often played at work, and I was also interested. In two years, I already have some achievements. According to my estimates, the total amount of my prizes is about $1800-2000.

My husband and I had a food shop.
There were some time during the day that we did not have job to do and needed something to do to ''kill'' out free time.
We started playing games in Facebook like bowling, etc.
And we found poker in facebook with not real money.
Starting playing there it was fun.
Then decided to open account and play with real money, and since then we play when we feel like.

For me the covid lockdown was the trigger. I was looking for something to do from my home while locked down, and poker seemed like the perfect fit for me!
