When I was a young kid my friend had a poker set and we learned to play 5 card draw, it was a blast. Then as an adult I always had friends around that wanted to play all the different stud games. Then I played 7 Stud in casinos until it all turned to NLHE which I switched to because I thought it was easier lol. 24 years of hold em later I’m still trying to master it! Good luck!

I started playing about 5 years ago. At the time, I was unemployed, had a lot of free time and was bored. Since then, I've been playing regularly and poker has long been a favourite hobby of mine.

I started playing around 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, I've been playing regularly and have pretty good results

In my 1st year of university I won a 6-player poker tournament in the dormitory (buy-in was $1). My friend wanted to win the money back and offered me to play heads-up with him for the entire winning pot. I agreed and beat him. As a result, I earned $11 in 1 hour of play. I liked it and started playing poker online at PokerStars. I never learned how to play poker, never read books or even watched YouTube videos.

many years ago as a teenager, my buddies wanted something to do and suggested poker, we were not good at it, but did understand the basics, and since then, we still get together once a month for a game.. (50 yrs)

That's amazing! Playing poker for the first time can be a lot of fun, even if you are a newbie. Did you have a good time? Did you win any hands?
Tell me more about your experience. What type of poker did you play? Did you learn any new strategies? What was the most surprising thing you learned?
I'm sure you'll get better with practice. Poker is a game that requires time and experience to master. But even if you don't become a pro, it's a great way to socialize and laugh with friends.

I started playing 7-8 years ago. I worked in an office, and there were often days when there was almost no work, so I started playing poker in my free hours. Since then, poker has become my favourite hobby, a great entertainment in the evenings

I have been playing card games since childhood. I've always played cards for money, and I love gambling in general. But poker has become a special hobby for me. I became interested in the game when I watched my friend play.
