Long time ago there were showing in Poland early EPT on Eurosport somewhere around when pokerstars was created. Was playing micros and freerolls. Take break maybe 7 years. Downloaded PS again 3 months ago, decided to give it a go this year with a lot of learning. The goal is to participate in UKGPT by the end of this year in London.

I got acquainted with poker quite a long time ago, when I saw one of the championships on TV late at night. Even then, I really liked the game, and I watched this tournament all night. Of course, then I had no one to play with among my peers, and my games were limited only to battles against the computer. I gradually got tired of it, and I forgot about poker for several years.Playing for wrappers helped me understand only the essence and rules of poker. It was only later that I downloaded another version of the program, where there was a game for money, then I learned about freerolls, about the cash game, about SnG and so on, that's when my poker life began.Try quitting smoking for fun, at least for a week, and see how you feel. And I am sure that 90% of you will play better because poker is a game of the mind, and cigarettes are a drug that dulls it.

I'm in my late 60s now and have played many card games over the years, including 5 card draw and Stud Poker, but never even heard of Hold-em until about 20 years ago when I chanced on watching Late Night Poker on TV, and the game grabbed me. I don't know what it was but I started by playing freerolls on Pokerstars, then tried quite a few other sites, so I have been playing Hold-em for over 20 years now.
I still have never made a deposit, and cashed out of at least 4 different sites that I made money from playing freeroll Tournaments, the only one I have not made a withdrawal from is still Pokerstars which was the first site I tried and the only one I keep returning to.
Who knows, maybe one day I will take my money and run
