But today an insight came over me, and I realized that if I had been more serious about poker, I would have been wealthy for a long time. Fortunately, during this time of playing I have a high-quality experience that will allow me to manage my bankroll efficiently without big losses without being distracted by anything other than MTT. So maybe this is just the peak of the realization that with poker it is quite possible to provide your life with everything you need, and after a while go on a well-deserved rest. Another thing that is important, is to trust the learning process in our quest of building a bankroll and having a go at it at a pro level. I like the vibe of this post and let me tell you, I've discovered the game 10 years ago, and its only a year ago when I took seriously and I have made massive improvements both skill wise and mentally although I'm not on a great level yet in the way of poker being to me like driving a car or drinking water, I still have to think through stuff. I trust the process completely that I'll get there cause Poker is the greatest hard way to earn easy money and I freaking love it.

You've spoken about insight and realization. Kind of abstract notions. But you haven't said anything about studying which constitute a huge part of skill improvement and progress ! So did you take any time to learn more about poker ? I'd like to know. Good luck...

By what criteria did you define this? You play as a plus or you have a lot of experience and you decided that you are a good player. Very few people can make money on poker.

I have a similar situation, I know everything about poker, I know which poker I play better, but I continue to play bad poker.
I play tournaments well and I play cash poorly, and that's how I play, I win tournaments and I lose cash.

Nowhere else can you learn this in materials about poker than from your own experience of playing.

I determined this based on the fact that I can constantly get tickets to tournaments for free! Starting to play, for example, from freerolls or from a poker school, where from the first time I played I managed to take 2nd place in the leaderboard having won $ 75, this is not enough, but if you set yourself a goal with these $ 75 to get tickets to the Sunday storm and if you don't throw money away, but to play only good MTT tournaments, such as the Sunday storm for $ 11, or satellites to them, then after a couple of years of good play, I think you can achieve good results. No, I think you just need to learn how to distribute your bankroll and never fold again, playing only by bankroll. And no wagering, passions and nerves. And you can also add a strategy to this, for example, earn free in freerolls, and give all the best in tournament tickets. And so, maybe not immediately, but in a month or two there will already be a positive result. Some words of wisdom. We all appreciate enthusiasm but it needs to be tinged with reality. I think the point where the OP got carried away was with the line....

Possibly. Probably not.

I have been playing poker for about three years, and I am convinced that poker can be profitable. I play 3-4 days a week and every time I try to improve my skills and analyze my game. I hope that someday I will be able to achieve my dream and make a living playing poker.
