About 6 months and going on 7. Guess it has transcended from playing to talking about poker.

I didn't play poker for several years, because of my family and work, now because of the pandemic I also had to stay away, but now I came back.

Several times it happened that I didn't play for 7-8 days. It wasn't because I didn't want to play, but because I didn't have access to the Internet.

Now I'm playing every day! But the longest period without poker is about 5 years. And it's a shame I missed so much time.

The biggest break in poker I had was 3 weeks!!! I went to have a rest in Portugal and hoped that I could sometimes go to play on Pokerstars.es but unfortunately it did not work out because registration at the place of residence is required for the game!!!

after years of playing poker I didn't play for a few days but my desire to play is not what it used to be I played every day for 2 years without stopping and always played 6 to 8 hours a day after 2 weeks I still don't feel like playing .... and how many days can you go without playing poker
Hi skalibur, I've always believed in family first, poker second. A few years ago, I started playing Fortnite online with my grandkids here in California and in Florida. We played heavily for two years, every day, sometimes all day. They were home schooled during Covid. Now that they're back in school they don't have much time for me anymore, so I'm back to poker. It's amazing, seems like I picked up right where I left off. With a little reading and a little practice, it didn't take long to get my style and mojo back. I guess that's what 45 years of poker will do for you. I'm back to playing 3 to 6 hours a day, same as before the pandemic.

Quite often I play in the cardschat tourneys but I dont play that well because I feel like there are other things that I should be doing instead. I play way better in the winter time when I have more time. During the busy times I probably shouldnt even enter tourneys and take time off from the game but since they are freerolls I usually do.

Sometimes poker is very tiring, so a few days of rest is a must.

It's great that you managed to feel that life does not stop without poker. And sometimes it even speeds up.
