If it was $10 I had to spare and didn't care, 1 x $10 tourney. If it was my last $10 that I wanted to use to grow my bankroll, as many $0.10-$0.25 tourneys as I could.

Depends on how much experience is available. It's better to start with 0.25 SNG, gain experience, work out a bankroll in order to get up to the limit.

I would particularly play 3 tournaments at 3.30
Personally I wouldn't buy into any game until I had over $25.00 and even then only buy-in for 50 Cent Single table games. Poker is not a get rich scheme, Sure you can win money playing Poker but eventually you will get dry spells, where you go on "Tilt" or get a losing streak, and will not gain any money for days or even weeks.
I set myself a limit of playing 10X $1.00 games, every day, willing to lose them all if I had to, Some days I did, at other times I would cash in every game, not great amounts but I still made a profit, and my bankroll was over $200, now it is over $600.
I do not consider myself a great player, but slow, steady progress is better than going broke every other day.

I would probably play in 55 cent buy-in tournaments. But honestly, if your bankroll is only $10, then it's best to just play freerolls.

I just won't waste money and will play freerolls. :sneaky: But if you have a goal to invest that money, I would recommend spin&go with a buy-in of 1$. I think it would be the most correct option. As for tournaments, I agree that the best option, in my opinion, is 3 buy-ins at $3.30.(y)

18 MTT for $0.55 would be an option.
The one I would choose would be 20 SnG for 0.50.
This option is slower but more secure as well. A Sng is a tournament that if you are patient you can win it many times and other times enter 2nd or 3rd which already implies ITM.
I would not enter cash tables until I was prepared to play micro-limits and did not have at least between 50 and 80 boxes (that is, $100 to $160).
I would not play more than those limits.
Remember, your bankroll must be 100 bullets Example u$s 100 (100 bullets in MTT of 1.10)
$330 Bankroll (100 bullets in $3.30 MTT)
Bankroll u$s 200 (100 boxes in cash tables of u$s 2)
That is the way to build a bankroll, and logically study, without studying this beautiful game you will not directly build a bankroll)
regards and good luck:):):)

I'd break it up to so that I could as many of cheapest MTT's with 10 min blind levels possible. That way I'd get the most play outta my $10 while giving myself the best chance I have at growing it into a good bankroll and moving up. As I do better the longer the blind levels.

Cheers!!!

According to a rule I learned a long time ago, I must play 100 tournaments of $0.10, however I would play tournaments of $0.50 and a maximum of one dollar.

And in your case, with $10, I would play tournaments with a buyin of $1.1 + $2.2, hit the draft and increased my bank, and then big tournaments)

Have you heard about such a concept as bankroll management?
Probably not, if you are proposing such a calculation. This approach to your finances will only lead you to disappointment.
IMO, following Bankroll management rules without a proper bankroll will lead you to disappointment.

10 dollars is not a poker bankroll. It's pocket change.

it's a waste of time playing for cents, not worth the time you spend playing.

Play the CC freerollls and try to build your bankroll risk free

If you only have 10 dollars I suggest you play as low as possible 0.25 , 0.50, because whatever negative variance you have you will break the bankroll

If you followed a good bankroll management ,playing frerolls would be your choice.
