magine you had to choose only one format for the next 12 months.

Would you pick live poker or online poker?

Live because I’ve never played one! 😂

My answer will be pretty obvious (at least to me). I’ll definitely choose online poker, since it offers me more opportunities to make money than if I only played live tournaments. :)

I would still want to play on-line. Playing in person means being away from my home comfort.
Means I can't just sit out and get something to eat, or go to the bathroom. Take a phone call.
Get into comfortable clothing.

I'd go with online poker.
You get way more volume, can review your hands, track your results, and improve much faster. I love the atmosphere of live poker, but if I had to choose just one for the next year, online would give me the best chance to grow as a player. After that, I'd happily take those skills to the live tables. 😅🧐

Online because I have all the convenience of playing, while at home.

Online. I'm too old to play live now, except with friends.

If I could only play 1 I would definitely take online.

You can just get so many more hands in online than live and you can play in your pajamas.

I think you can do everything you mentioned in a live game.😁

I'd go with live games. I'd rather see full tables of players than stare at my phone.

I would choose live poker. I enjoy sitting at the table with other players and reading their reactions. I think live poker is more exciting and social than playing online. Even though online poker is more convenient, I would still choose live poker because I enjoy the experience more.

I think the biggest guarantees are in live poker. If you live in the States, for example, there are some online sites available, but they cannot combine player pools so the guarantees are not as big as live tournaments. Also, what I like about live poker is that some players have poker reads. You don't have that in online poker.

If I had to choose just one mode for a year, I would go for online poker. I think I would play much more, learn faster and have more opportunities to improve my game. I like live poker and it can be very profitable, but if I think about my development as a player during those 12 months, I would definitely choose online poker.

I actually play on my computer. But if I win the lottery I may try a weekend Casino outing.

I'd stick with MTTs without much hesitation. I love the variety of stack depths, adapting to different players, and the excitement of making a deep run. Sure, the variance can be brutal, but when you finally hit a big score it makes all those close calls worth it. Cash games are great for steady profit, but if I could only choose one format for the next five years, tournaments would keep me interested the longest.

I'd pick online poker for the next year. The volume and flexibility are hard to beat, especially if you're serious about improving and building a bankroll.

Live poker is great for the experience and softer tables, but online gives you so many more hands and opportunities to study your results. For a full year, I'd definitely choose online.
