If you could only play one for the next year: Live or Online?

I'd still choose online poker. It's much more convenient, and I only play lower stakes anyway, so live poker wouldn't really be an option for me. Online lets me play whenever I want, multi-table if I choose, and comfortably from home, so it's definitely my preferred format.

In a perfect world with no worries, I'd choose live poker. But since we don't live in a perfect world, it would have to be online poker.

I think I would choose live poker. Out of curiosity. I should try this format too. Unfortunately, I only play online. There is no opportunity to play live.

The nearest casino is around 1 hour away from, where I live, and there is no way, I would ever give up on online poker just to be able to go there once in a while, when games run, which is presumably mostly in the evening and night. Online poker allow me to play, whenever I want, for as long or short as I want, and from the comfort of my own home

If the goal is volume, consistency, and flexibility: online poker.

Online has more growth in my opinion, there not a lot of casinos where I'm from, we only play live poker twice a week in my town. Online for me

I love playing live but would still choose online for 1 year, maybe it would be different if the question was forever, I'm not sure....actually I'd probs still choose online as its just simply more accessible

I would definitely play live poker, since I've never had the opportunity to do so. In the future, or when I retire, my plan is to play live poker exclusively.

I would choose an in-person tournament.When you play live, you enjoy many other things besides poker: you get a better feel for the dynamics and read the players.I'm sure live poker will live forever, but online poker is questionable. The full atmosphere of the game can only be experienced by playing live.

Definitely online poker. The ability to multi-table, control volume, and avoid travel overhead makes it far more efficient for building a bankroll over a full year.
