If You Could Start Playing Poker All Over Again

Well ... if I could go back to my beginnings in poker ... what would change would be the discipline ... before I played without having the time and conditions necessary to play poker ... and today I have the discipline to understand in which tournaments I must play, I also have my adequate hours to play and above all the level in which I must play ...! all this is called "Discipline"

A lot of people would agree on this one!

I would have used training sites and poker podcasts earlier and played a little bit higher (because the players were not so good).
I was also a little bit late to the poker scene, I started 2006/07 better would be 2003 or even earlier.
I never used the big poker forum"4", should have, but now it is not so useful anymore.

He would start to play more aggressive and not passive as he played before.

I would've taken a more aggressive approach to bankroll management instead of being such a bankroll NIT.
I would've dedicated certain days at my job where I was not 'on call' so that I could devote those days to playing in tournaments.
I would've upgraded my computer sooner & used PT3 immediately & studied it intensively.

I would've taken longer memberships at training sites & hooked up with a group of like-minded players.

I would've hunted around for the most suitable coach for my needs at the time & by doing so, enter into a staking group and hook up with others for strategy discussion.

i would not let my feelings get the best of me and i would play much titer from the get go as i do now and not chaseso many things as i did in the beginning

I would have learned about pot equity at an earlier age. I think most players have an innate sense of whether or not going for a draw is worth the bet, but pot equity has widened my draw range a bit.

Also, learning about SPR and implied odds makes a lot of sense. Yes, poker is a card game, but sometimes you're better off playing your chips vs their chips rather than cards vs cards.

If I could go back , I would have found ways to deposit and play earlier , or play some sngs not cash games to learn more and faster and most importantly way far less expensive . I would have tried to seek the best promotions , best bonuses , play the freerolls from the beginning , begin study of the game on a regural steady pace and with a schedule .

Yes , i know , the start of my poker activities was not good at all , and that has effects on my poker carreer until now , the good/right start is the half of everything , I have to make a reset , make a new start , see how far I can go with the poker games . I have done it with casino games , saw my capabilities , my limits , my mistakes , corrected many , started having good profits . I have done it with the sports betting , minimising losses and betting on schedule and only investing very small part of winnings , only with very good info and data for a game , winnings have not come yet , but the way I use a very small part of winnings and bankroll for sportsbets is very satisfying , optimal I would , for some weeks now

Poker is my next step , a lot of study , reevaluation , check of progress , extremelly strict bankroll management , controled risks and extremelly aggressively gameplay on specific games , hands or oppopnents . A hud is on its way unfortunatelly to start using it , after my study has some good progress

I am not a poker pro but if I knew how much money I could generate for smashing the mouse I may have taken:evil::evil: it into consideration as a full-time job.

I wanna be tempted to say i wouldnt change a thing coz where im at now is pretty okay.
But honestly i would have loved to be more aware of mathematical and mental requirements of the game. Instead of wasting hundreds of dollars of luck.
I would have gotten to where i am now a lot faster!

Probably that it's okay to cash out some money instead of continually climbing stakes - sometimes losing is the best way to learn these lessons though.

I would and still need to remind myself constantly that it's okay to be a nit especially in low stakes tournaments - the nits get the money.
