In principle, if you win a sum that is already on you can not play not to be tempted to lose a lot of money.

I would continue to play a pretty steady volume of very high by in tournaments for the remainder of the year for tax purposes. You are going to have to pay taxes on the winnings anyway, so you might as well play a lot of high buy ins giving yourself a chance to bink again, knowing that you can write off your loses. After that I would probably continue to play pretty regularly but at modest stakes because I really enjoy playing poker.

id put it all in a high interest account and go on holiday for a year or 2 at the end of the year id take the interest and put it in an account for hi stakes poker and leave the rest in the hi interest account lol automatic massive poker roll thats free to win or lose without worry of financial ruin

Personally, I'm in the tournament won a maximum $3,if I won that much money,I don't even know what I would do,but wouldn't cease to play poker that's for sure,I'm not playing much poker for about a year with big winnings is not met

Poker is a stressfull game, but you cant stop playing at all....really for me its a total experience to play poker. i think even if i won an important amount of money i would continue playing..

That would be great. I could help my mom to get cancer operation faster. I could help my brother and his wife to do IVF and get a child. Help my sisters daugher because she needs special needs(Down's syndrome).
After all that i would invest half of the money in some checked business and for the rest of the money would play poker for ever

After winning a tourney like that you would be at a point were stress would not be an issue. This sort of money would keep me at the top of the game, for the rest of my life.

Oh yeah. I would go on a holiday before resuming my career. Probs a poker holiday.

I don`t know what I would do with such a large amount of money, except buying a house... But if I would win 10000$ I wouldn`t give up on poker and would try to make more money, maybe I wouldn`t play for all the money but I`m sure I would want play.
