I voted yes because I don't drink any more while I play poker. I do believe that I am better at controlling my emotions because of it.
I have a drink of wine with dinner at Xmass, my birthday, thanks giving and a family event, that's it.

Well I don't drink or smoke but I can tell you intoxicated people can hit some abnormal luck and this is from experience as a pitboss and having worked for years in casino, you see a drunkard will make a call you can't make while sobber and win hand's you can't imagine, although it's not sustainable

With a couple of drinks, it doesn't affect playing poker, you feel relaxed without losing control, even if without excess.

Poker is a game of making good decisions over and over, and alcohol makes that a lot harder. If I'm going to have a drink, I'd rather wait until I'm done playing. I'd much rather lose because I got outplayed than because my judgment was off. Keeping a clear head is one of the easiest ways to protect your bankroll.

yeah, 100%. Usually after the 3rd drink, i become wreckless too... I then get pissy with myself and say I shouldnt have a few drinks when i play, but I love my brandy's 🥃

I don't drink alcohol while playing because it prevents me from playing thoughtfully. I prefer to play without alcohol, without emotions, and without excessive risk.

I tend not to drink while playing. I don't see the harm in one or two beers though but more risks affecting your play. But when playing lower stacks in tourneys with 5 hours reg sometimes I get a bit bored and if on a relaxing weekend day maybe I will partake, just slightly.

I never drink alcohol, it's a habit that takes money away from you, and makes you make stupid decisions, they shouldn't have to when they play poker, in reality it stops even one activity in life.
