Only 8 buy-ins??? I dropped 5 buy-ins tonight and felt like the end of the world was near. Anyway, at least you know you're not the only one running bad. Tonight has been my biggest downswing to date as well.

5 buy-ins is your worst downswing? Not to scare you or anything, but you better be prepared for worse, much worse.

protip of the day 1: getting disconnected for 15 mins while 15 tabling for the first time is bad.

protip of the day 2: then proceeding to load up 15 more tables while still probably tilting from the disconnect is also bad.

protip of the day 3: running bad coupled with the above means a pretty crappy day

A positive start to the year though, which is nice.

40 buy in swong puts my now 15 to shame

also 16 buyin drop tilts me no where near as much as how long it takes combu to reply to pm's

Worst.Downswong.Evar. I'm actually more calm than I thought I would be in this situation, but it still really ****ing sucks to swing this much at 10nl. Not only that but I was so sure that I was about to move up in stakes. I'm just not going to even worry about moving up anymore since it really seems to make me results-oriented. This graph makes me look like a spewtard/donk, but I actually got my money in good every single hand that I lost. They were all coolers and bad beats (consecutively at times). Here's the fun graph. I'm sure I'll get the "that's nothing" type comments, but losing this is sort of a lot to me.

First sessions of 10NL

ok I'm going over all my hands tonight that gave me trouble. Will probably post a few in the HA section. Tomorrow I will be moving down to 100nl and dropping # of tables to probably 12. I will concentrate on playing good solid winning poker rather than volume. sne isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. I'll still try to keep close to pace but if I fall behind I fall behind. Playing winning poker is more important to me this year than being an fpp pro. fwiw I played 8/7 today. I don't know if it's 24-tabling, running like shit, or a combination of the two but there's no way in hell that's optimal. So I'm going to open up a bit more, look to play some poker, think about ranges, all that kinda shit instead of autopilot 24-tabling. If I can't make sne because I can't play optimally 24-tabling that's fine, but I was playing 13/11 earlier 24-tabling (and not surprisingly actually winning). I'll just have to see how it goes. My primary goal of the year is to make money. If sne is the best way to do so that's great. If I can make an extra 100k+ profit by playing less tables and concentrating and maybe only hitting like 400-500k vpps, that's what I'll do. But I'm not going to be an fpp pro, I know I'm better than that.
