It was only because there were no decent tables of rull ring available the other day that I ended up trying some 6-max.

I've been wary based on some of the 6max discussions and HHs and concerned that my not exactly hyper-aggressive ring-game would get bullied or put me in spots I wasn't comfortable with in 3 and 4 bet pots.

But only a few hundred hands in I started to get a sense that instead of being a concentrated form of ring there was actually plenty in common with the tournament preflop and postflop game I enjoy so much.

So 3 days and 10k hands later I'm hooked. Small sample, but I've got a decent sense of the difference between running good and playing well and although the cards weren't too bad I think this was decent play.

Lots to learn which is exciting and I'll do it at 50nl before heading back to 100nl, but woohoo

6max1

Other bonus is the insane speed of hands compared to FR. 9-tabling (which is comfortable) I'm hitting >750 hands an hour, which even at 50nl is racking up the fpps with the old nova multiplier. Don't want to get ahead of myself, but at 100nl it's going to be sweet :)

Glad to see the 6-max is workin' for you. Personally, I prefer FR, never had any luck on 6-max.

Nice graph :top:

Nice one rex, awesome graph, i can only manage 5 tables at the min but tbh i don't know if i want to add more, maybe go up to 6 but thats my ceiling, 9 must be crazy!

I moved over to 6max from FR a while ago now and i haven't looked back, its for winners :D

In other news, My first session in over a week tonight went well, was on an army ex all of last week with no signal for the mobile broadband :( watched rounders like 4 times and read PNLHE through again instead lol, i was a bit nervous going into tonight b/c throughout my poker 'career' sunday nights have been a bit of a minefield!............ But i managed to run goot!!!! yey for me! Thats me up to $98 now, moving up to 5nl at either $115 or $100, dunno yet.

I can't remember who it was i was talking to when i said that 2nl villains call you down light as shit but this hand kinda shows how dumb they really are, caling with the board rocks.. for me anyways :D

I think i've perfected the art of the huge-overbet-value-shove-allin at the micro's, i don't do it much but when i do i pick the best spots and get called pretty much everytime lol

Typically the BB, who was the biggest station in the world, folded on the flop which was a wounder, this guy wtsd a stupid amount but bugs out as soon as i hit a hand, rigged!!

I mean it is a kids game, but really, it was quite a fun game. Not sure why it got such a bad rap.

pokemon is pretty fun, all the people who can't see that are merely blinded by their aversion to things that are cute and yellow and say pika pika!

yea i mean just the gameboy game is what i'm talkin about. it had like infinite replay value, one game could last you many many hours and still be fun. plus you can carry a gameboy anywhere (so u can play on the bus, when ur waiting at a train station, at home, in the car, anywhere), and it got tons and tons of battery life for two AA batteries.

it's for ADD fools like me that can barely get by with just listening to an ipod on the bus, and need something involving to occupy our mindz while the bus tortures our butts

What he actually meant was "KQ no good?"
