This reminded me of how good my buddy and I are going to be this spring. He got a hitting cage for christmas. So instead of chipping every night on the front lawn, its now hitting drivers at 100% along with any other club. Perfect for when the temp is down in the 20's and all courses are closed.

It was as low as 7 but my normal is closer to 11. 1 good month and it was 7, 1 bad month, back to 11

ye I've never been a long driver, but short game is the specialty. When I'm playing well I can shoot E, but...well, how often do we golfers go out there and play as well as we would like?

He plays 15/8 and check raises quite a lot on flops. I think preflop when he overlimps / calls, he pretty much always has a small pocket pair. When he raises flop, it's either a set or a bluff with a pp that did not hit. But the flop is really dry to go for a check raise with a set, and I barrel quite a bit so I think he would wait for the turn for that. So I think his range is mostly bluffs. But mostly bluffs i don't beat with Q high, so I need to shove to fold them.

At least that's the theory. If he snaps me with a set, i'm a little upset but shit happens and i take a note he CR dry flops with set. What would really bother me if he shows up with top pair here, because i really don't think he has any of those in his range.

Lol it is impossible to play how we feel we should play. Although I have lost some distance over the last few months, my long game is still better than my short. Way too many 3 putts.
