Question for ChuckT.. I read your blog and was interested in Stoxpoker. I went to register for a account and take a look around, but when I clicked the button to register I get a pop up that states

Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator..

Is there a reason that u might know of that I cant sign up to the site.?

Not ChuckTs but I believe they're getting ready to move to a new redesigned site so my guess would be that sign-ups have been disabled until that is done.

Yeah they're in the process of redesigning the site, as far as I know, and apparently new registrations are temporarily halted in the process.

Well I've moved over to 6MAX from full ring, and really enjoying it. Hand ranges are making much more sense to me now, and a big bonus being that there are wayyyyy more fish . TBH I'm starting to feel that most FR HA hand ranges are so incorrect its not funny.

Moved out of nl$100 altogether for a bit, and back to the $50 tables.

I really want to play on FTP, but I do not get any sort of rakeback... They keep promising me that they are working on getting me some sort of rakeback deal for non rakeback members, but nothing yet.

I would tell Full Tilt exactly that. You have a decent amount of money you would like to deposit and that you are thinking about depositing it on Ultimate Bet because you can get RB there and you can't at Full Tilt.

Also, I read on another popular forum that the big rumor is that Full Tilt will be offering RB accounts to all of it's non rb account customers by the end of the year....

The end of 2010 is still a long ways away! :( Hopefully this is true, they've stonewalled my requests for a while now. Full Tilt is certainly my favourite place to play, but without RB, there's no way I'm going to make a deposit.

Now at $9.40 lmao, just 4 more days like this and i'll actually be rolled! If I do manage it, it's a pretty sweet comeback from my crack addiction. Just need avoid varience to the crotch for a few more days.
LC, seeing as you're from england, like me, have you and other UKers seen the freerolls they are holding every night for UK/Irelanders only? I think they are at 9.30pm and 10.30pm GMT, something like $2000 prizefund for the first, and $250 for the second. They are both freerolls, but you can rebuy/add-on if you so wish.

Seriously I spent the good part of yesterday looking through the thread I link to though.
thanks for link, CT, good read, what a scum-bag that guy is.

in other news, tomorrow night I have the biggest mtt Ive ever played, a 200euro($277) buy-in. I won entry via coming 1st in a 2euro rebuy. So far there are 314 entries, with 45th place getting $1100, whilst first pays $51,200!
Wish me good cards and good luck, please everyone, if I cash, I'll be happy, if I hit the top 3 I can quit work for 6 months and attempt to play poker for a living, with some of the winnings as back-up when I crash-and-burn........

As much as I want you to win the 51K and be all balla KD. Please do not quit work if you win, many a player have done that prematurely and most of them just end up busto and beyond repair.

Wow. I just spent the last 5 hours reading the entire threads on Stox and 2p2. I actually exchanged a few pms with him on Stox several months ago and he was very helpful in responding to non-poker related topics that were of no benefit to him. Lucky for me that my communication with him ended there. Guess it was just a ploy to try to gain my trust. Sad story.

Now, need to get some sleep so I can grind today and tomorrow!

nah, i wouldnt be balla with it. 15k will pay off all mine and wife's debts, and then I'd take 5k to use as wages for 6 months(im in low-paid job and have low outgoings), and then I would play my current BR and learn cash properly. as long as I got by, that's all i want in life, to give up work and get by in something i enjoy.
lol anyway, ive gotta win the bloddy thing first!

I'm up about 10 buyins at 10nl, but none from you I don't think, even though I've run across you a number of times.

at one point i was up 13 - 17 buy ins..increased my BR immensely..but over the course of the sick week... i ran my KK and QQ into overpairs more often than i can count..ppls flushes and straights were crushing my sets..and set over set happened more than a few times as well..back to the old grind now...sucks so bad.

my BR is back around $200 now..i think im gonna step back from 10NL back down to 5NL..i guess..dont want to but ill go busto i feel if i keep playin rush poker

My oh my, until not so long ago things were going oh so wrong for me in the poker world, variance literally raping me in the ass.

Following on from my previous posts in this thread, I've been a very happy camper since returning to Devilfish Poker, long may my heater continue! :D I'm very nearly rolled to step back up to 20NL, buy I don't think I will, whilst I realise 25bb/100 is not sustainable, I hope I can do consistently well at this level in the future.

10NL, Ironic that my FT graph for 4k hands 10NL is not far from a mirror image! Darn Rush Poker! :p

God no!!! My graph for Rush Poker is virtually a mirror image of the one I just posted! I think if I was properly rolled and stuck it out (was only rolled to take a shot with a couple of buy ins but ended up blowing a ridic amount) maybe I could have turned things around, or at least halted the slide.

The graph there is my last 4k hands at Devilfish Poker on Entraction Network. The currency is Euro (so more bang for buck and the play is comparable to the bigger networks) and I certainly don't get 30% Rakeback at Full Tilt! :D My winnings translate to $244 your money

Yeah, I think I'm all Rushed out for now - big sessions, anyway...it seems like every time I get up 2, 3 buy ins, I'll get AA cracked by connectors, KK running into AA, and the latest - has happened to me twice in the last 1000 hands of Rush is flopping set over set, ughhhh
