Logic or intuition?

for me i think its a mix of both but maybe i am more intuitive but i dont know if i am good with it though

The simple answer is play thousands of games, and millions of hands, Intuition comes with practice and developing a gut feeling about a certain way your opponent plays at you. I was involved early on in a Tourney with Ace/Ten suited and was raised pre-flop so obviously I wanted to see the flop, so I called a 3x bet.
The flop gave me top pair with nothing else so I checked and Villain bet into me (continuation bet) I naturally called and the turn didn't make any difference to the hand, so I checked again, and again Villain bet out at me about half pot, so I called again. The River was an awkward card that could have created a straight but he would have had to be playing 7/4 to have made his hand. I checked again and immediately he shoved all-in.
Now I was stunned! Why go all-in if he hadn't made the nuts? I thought about the hand and remembered he Raised pre-flop so could not possibly be raising with a hand like 7/4, there were no flush possibilities, and the only thing I could think of was he raised with a pocket pair and had made Trips? Or had he? after I had thought about it the only thing that could beat me is if he had made trips or two pair, So reluctantly I called. Pocket Kings was all he had and I took him out there with my top pair of Aces.
Call it Intuition or just a gut feeling. I just did not believe the hand he was trying to sell me. Sometimes you need to rely on your gut feelings or Intuition to make the right decisions, and that only come with time.

I believe a part of intuition comes from practice and experience, so it will slowly come to you. It's a mix of everything. 9 out of 10 times a skilled poker player will beat a rookie with great intuition in general. Some achieve intuitive skills fast, other take years to refine.

Like many mentioned, I think you will develop your intuition with time, after studying the game and after facing the same spots many times, after going through thousands and thousands of hands you will naturally make decisions based on your experience, I guess a lot of people confuse experience with gut feeling or intuition

First, I think everyone on this community knows that live poker and online poker are 2 different things; online, if you study enough and play GTO you can be successful at least until mid stakes(cash, mtts, sngs); but (IMO) if you want to be 'the best' than you'll need something extra - you can call it intuition/ talent or something like that and you'll need it both online and live(more for the later one)...

I think this intuition thing is pushed up. You see on YT only the hands, where it worked fine and they made a marvellous call or laydown. These guys played millions of hands and I don't want to know, how often they lost their whole stack to their intuition.

First, you learn the rules of poker. Then you study strategy. You begin to see and understand how to play with different hands. And in order to play intuitively, you need the same logic. :angel:

A gift I don't have, most don't..

This institution, the gift, to see what others don't, maybe the normal player can develop a fraction of. But a full-on, pro-level, intuition, it's a_level professional stuff. Like in sports, most people max out in little league, high school, maybe college, same with poker.
We can develop our games, to a point. I know I don't have the gift of intuition, so I play withing my abilities.

While I think that both are important, I think that logic wins out over 80% of the time when comparing the two. It seems like the player that win time and time again use more logic than intuition.

Intuition is part of knowledge. I can only use the two together.
