lol ****ing typical, this is like how my entire month has gone. Glimmer of hope, nope **** you, you're going down again. Forgot how much it sucked being a rakeback pro. Among the highlights of the day was set over set turning into quads, me calling a shove and a call with top 2 and both players having the exact same OESD (obv hits), and the guy with a 28% 3-bet over a 200+ hand sample showing up with AA against my KK for a 300 BB pot. Sigh w/e just gotta come back tomorrow and keep grinding I guess.

Yeah ... seriously, I agree with Chuckts here. As the formerly worst offender I am willing to institute a bitching fine in this thread of $0.50, so everytime you bitch you pay the toll as a fee to realize other people have it worse than you do (something I have sorely learned the last 1.5 months).

Again, agreed.

Good luck. I think you've said this other times about getting coaching and it's worked out for you. You paid for a lot of coaching with Jared and by your own admission don't always following his advice (specifically his warmup/warmdown) so I wish you the best and recommend you get into Jared's suggested routine. I mean, you know what you're doing bud, I'm just lookin' out. GL!

Chuck, I think I've said this before, but do you think you can have too much of a good thing, so to speak.

Doesn't all this coaching just leave you all, like, IDK having to think too much about decisions!

seriously, I don't see how learning more can be a negative thing

BW isn't the type to teach fancy play and crazy lines and shit. He's back to basics: "why are you 3betting with AJ here? What if it was suited? What if you had KQ? 22? Are we shoving over a 4bet? Which flops are you cbetting?" type stuff. Not just "yeah I probably 3bet there too, we'll deal with the flop when we get there.". Watch his DC videos if you haven't yet.

My only issue is that I'm spending a lil too much. 8 weeks, $300/week, one ~1.5hr session per week. It's a course, not personal coaching, which is why I can (kind of) afford him. NOrmally he's like $500/hr for personal coaching.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Getting coached is most definitely a +ev experience, but surely you have to balance it up, how much is enough. I mean you have spent a lot of money on various forms of coaching and different coaches. And I suppose it's good to get a balanced view form different coaches. But surely there's only a limited amount of knowledge you can get at a particular level that will be of benefit.
