Have a stag weekend coming up. Going to a place called Doolin in the West of Ireland. The place has a grand total of one pub. Should be interesting.

Is there a column in the lobby for tables where my opponent don't always hit their backdoor flushes?

Don't mind me; I'm just steaming from a 20 buy-in downswing where I feel like I'm getting outplayed left and right in every significant pot.

I can tell you it's a "fantastic" way to start a semi-pro career too.

BTW I did a little random sampling last night.

9 of PokerStars Best Tables (100nl FR) = Average VPIP of 21

9 completely random Full Tilt Tables (100nl FR) = Average VPIP of 19

Yes, sample sizing for players at stars was greater. Yes, its 1 random night worth of grabbing tables. But I was curious, maybe you were too.

So why compare Stars best tables to random FT tables?

his main point is that stars is waaay nittier than FT (at $100 NL anyway) since the best Stars tables are surprisingly comparable to any random FT table.

*obviously an unscientific study but seems to be a generally accepted conclusion
