I admit I didn't poke around too much, so far I've seen a few hh from cash tables.

So what are these monthly threads about? Is this where you post how you do for the month? To get help with something other than posting in the analysis threads?

*I see a lot of graphs posted here, do you need a program that does that to post your monthly results? I haven't purchased PT3 or HEM yet.

I finally made it. After being now stuck 42 buy-ins over 90,000 hands, I have hit $0.50/$1. Not much longer, and I'll get to play $.25/$.50. And once I'm underrolled for that, I'll ask for a flip on 3+3, hopefully lose and be done with the POS game that had us all fooled into thinking it could be beat. This may be my last post on CC, too. Have a nice day everyone. And better cash out before variance catches up.

Why did you 4bet so big?

1) It was a potsized 4-bet. Definitely shoulda bet less though .
2) I was getting 2.7:1. Against QQ+/AK I estimated my equity at like 30%, which is 2.3:1. I figured I was priced into a call. Turns out my equity was 26%, and I needed 2.8:1 to call. But even then, calling wasn't a big mistake at that point. The real mistake in the hand was 4-betting so big that I was priced into calling. Pumping it to $33 would've had the same effect, but I'd have been able to fold.
3) No, I actually had J4s.

Okay, lemme get this straight. You used to play 5/10, you went busto. You rebuilt your roll, got up to 5/10 or 10/20, and are now having a 42 buy in downswing. At what point do these downswings stop being variance & become leaks in your game?

I ask this because I've been through some good 20 buy-in downswings myself. And it was really easy just to say "Oh, I lost with Quads for 200bb's, variance". But I was losing like 1000bb's in the session. I almost guarantee there are leaks in your game, and you're tilting because of losing all this money and its causing you to lose more. Your poker skill is largely determined by how well you can limit your losses during these downswings, and it seems like something you could work on.

Just my 2 cents.
