I've never seen anyone have so little equity with the nuts in the 2 card game. At least the other 67 didn't raise, and freeroll you over 2 streets (lol, another great example of why slowplaying r dumb).eNTy said:CO showed 6♦ 7♦ (a straight, Four to Eight) and lost (-$26.62 net)
Hero showed 7♣ 6♣ (a straight, Four to Eight) and lost (-$25 net)
MP showed 4♦ 4♠ (a full house, Fours full of Eights) and won $75.49 ($48.87 net)

If you're going to check back turn I think you have to check back the river as well when you miss. Obviously it usually doesn't cost you as much but even $2.28 he's almost never folding, and if he does your A high is probably good.eNTy said:FML
meant to bet 2.28$ on river instead I misstyped to $228 and it shoved, he insta called...
CO: $25 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $25 (100 bb)
SB: $32.82 (131.3 bb)
BB: $35.59 (142.4 bb)
MP: $19.11 (76.4 bb)
Pre-Flop: Hero is BTN with 3♦ A♦
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, BB calls $0.75
Flop: ($2.10) K♦ 6♣ 4♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1, BB calls $1
Turn: ($4.10) 6♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks
River: ($4.10) Q♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $23 and is all-in, BB calls $23
Results: $50.10 pot ($2.50 rake)
Hero showed 3♦ A♦ (a pair of Sixes) and lost (-$25 net)
BB showed 8♥ 6♦ (three of a kind, Sixes) and won $47.60 ($22.60 net)

hmm I don't ususally place too much stock in timing tells but don't you think he'd think for a bit on whether to bluff with total air/missed draws? I'm actually kinda surprised he wouldn't think before checking back his trips, but generally I think a quick check is a mid-strength hand and after the action before this he's never folding a mid-strength hand to your river bet, no matter how large you make iteNTy said:Probably true. I very nearly did but his fast checking made me think he had air, so I wanted to take a stab.
Didn't expect to stab it that big.
eNTy said:And honestly why didn't any of you guys tell me 6max was swingy.
Every time I came back from over a buy in loss I get stacked again. Like 5 times in the course of the 800 hands session. The last one was flopped set after 3betting big pre, vs KQ who turned the gutshot.
Oh well, it is a lot more fun and I can see when you are running hot/not being bad beated or shoving with A high the profits are bigger and faster. You get paid off a lot more than in nut peddle land.
