Luck, skill? What strategy do you use?

I think both are important, although skill is always the one that helps the most to achieve great things in poker.

I use skill as much as I can, but luck does play a huge roll. Sometimes they hit that 5% chance on the river

You need both, but with strategy you at least make your chances go up by that crucial 1 percent I guess. Thats atleast how I see it.

The question is a verry tricky. At the freerolls, when begins all in pre flop, the luck preside (skill also preside), (just drop it and watch, there is nothing to do), everything can hapend. The skill, more or less, is game for postflop (luck preside too, so, they go hand by hand, can't escape it).

Last night i was a witness, how many "big hands" fall down at the all in batle: AK vs QJ; 99 vs QQ and so on.

And last but not least, there were also many quality games after the flop (last night)...

(Oh, i forgot for the strategy: well, I prefer to have no one in front of me when I push, and mostly "good hands" are played. )

I always play the players I have stats on. I don't believe in my luck, although it is an important aspect of poker. But still, good decision making is the main tool for success in poker tournaments. Luck may be present in the early stages of a tournament, but not in the later stages.
