lol so Bob crushed him first, but he got me to sit 3/6 with Pokerstars pro JC Alvarado. I guess he may win live but by online standards he was pretty bad. He actually took a buy-in early off me in what I thought was a cooler until I realized he is a complete and utter nit and does not bet or raise without the nuts. Pretty sure if I had reads coulda gotten away from my TP where all he repped was a set. But normally I'm not folding TP when he reps such a narrow range. Anyway made it back and then some. Wish I didn't have to sleep now because I would literally play this dude all night, but gotta get up semi-early tomorrow .

That sucks Orange but you really need to be betting the flop. Not only does it build the pot so you can get all-in by the river but also because you cbet that flop with the rest of your range that didn't flop the boat.

Why are you not raising the flop? Just wondered coz I usually r/r there 95% of the time or does that just turn our hand face up? River is standard call amirite?

raising flop rarely folds out better and rarely gets action from worse. if he continues vs. a raise it usually means we're dependent on our spade outs and 10s (although 10s won't always be good). given it's BTN vs BB 6max 1000NL i'm not expecting to get enough credit to fold out AK with a raise ever and maybe not AJ much either. it's probably much better as a bluff catcher in position and a flush he'll rarely put us on when the spade hits

Sorry for being so whingey and moaney on here in the last few days.

I was really stoked about moving up a limit so it's hit me kinda hard having my ass handed to me by the deck over the last 10k hands and making me move back down, but you know what, its taught me yet another valuable lesson, that it doesn't matter if you have to move back down, you've already beat the level below you so it's just a matter of patience and in time i'll be taking another stab at 10nl, where i will hopefully run a lot better lol.

Moved back down when my roll hit $208, was doing a 25/20 rule but i could only see myself dropping more money at 10nl so i just moved down then, got myself back up to $215 already at 5nl so i'll be back up there soon.

Again, sorry for bein such a whiner, must really piss some of you guys off when i'm bitchin about losing $30 after you've lost a few hundred/thousand over the month.
