So I was just playing around with some stats in HEM. WTF is River Call Efficiency? Mines 1.81.

Mine's 3.61. The sad part is I don't know which is better (or whether there even is better/worse lol)

The thing is it's not good to have it too high because it means you should be raising more or perhaps calling more often, plus it seems to be highly dependent on opponent bet sizing. So if an opponent pots it and you call and win the pot I think you would have efficiency of 3? If they go half pot it should be 4 for every win. Yeah basically I think the most applicable way to use it is look at different situations. If there's a decent sample size and your river call efficiency is <1 it means you should reconsider your play in those spots.

For buying the T$, I'll see how I feel come donkament time on Sunday. If for some godforsaken reason I want to punish myself with a Sunday major (which I most likely will) I'll shoot you a pm near the weekend and buy it from you.

lol, this seems to be the general sentiment when it comes to donkaments. Everytime I enter a SNG or MTT I think to myself, why the **** did I just burn my money? Then I end up final tabling it after a few tries and it starts the whole cycle again.

He had 100 BBs (orange had 200+). Depends on your opening range and how often SB squeezes. If you're a nit UTG and there's no squeeze history with him this is a spot I'd fold QQ because you're never 4-betting that light when he squeezes your UTG open.

That said I haven't worked out the math, is his call +ev if you 4-bet AK in that spot?

QQ has like 40% equity vs. AK,KK+ so it's pretty close to breakeven since he's essentially calling 4 to win 6.
