Mathematics or psychology

I use math more, psychology doesn't really help me with micro-limits
 
Both at the same time, in poker you have to use mathematics on the one hand to calculate outs and odds and equity and on the other hand psychology to manage concentration and difficult times.
 
In poker there cannot be one without the existence of the other, both go hand in hand, I would say one fifty percent and the other fifty percent.

The two are certainly important, especially for playing poker live, but the truth is that they are very important. Rather, they are the most important thing in the world of poker, not luck.
 
Yes I think is necessary a combination of both, I mean, you need statistics and think about probabilities and also learn to understand the other feelings
 
I think it's a scale that tilts from left to right or vice versa and it will never be 50/50, if math prevailed we would do calculations on the spot and you can't lose anything 🤔 I don't think you have a formula or template that works 100%.
According to me the question can remain 😀
 
Perhaps psychology can also be applied by some tricky mathematical method, for example, using statistics for various poker fields, which lines of the game they are more psychologically inclined to ))
 
Both ! With a little more on Math. But yes , if you manage to be good at both , you will be a fearfull oponent.
 
for the basic poker experience I'm gaining through community tournaments; I can conclude that there are two factors to be used, both mathematics and psychology; The math to calculate the probabilities of coming a flush and the "outs", and PHYSICOLOGY should be used on its own, regarding anxiety, concentration, and breathing.

mental factors psychology,
Probability factors.... math.
 
I think you use both when playing poker online but for me there are a lot more players online that dont know how to play . This makes it different for me when playing online more mental.

No doubt math. But I take into account the behavior when I play seriously.

I think both are important in poker. For those that are good in math well more power to you.
 
You should use both, when the math fails, you have to find a way to beat your opponent.
 
Maths not, but statistic is what I use the most, since I only play online poker, using psychology can be hard, I prefer to focus on odds.
