not in general. at the top, yes.. but i'm guessing that has a lot to do with the fact that women just started really getting into the game (like billiards, and many other things).

I don't think men are superior, what happens is that the proportion of men is much higher than women so the probability of a man winning is higher.

I find something very complex. Starting with the spatial differences that female and male brains have, and this is very much about decision making. And maybe they don't feel so confident about being in a mostly male place.

Wow. No comment on the above post other than what I've noticed when I was playing live casino poker. The amount of women playing was almost non-existent. At any given table I've ever played at it was RARE to actually see a woman playing. If I had to guess of the place I used to go to the most? They had 36 tables going and you were lucky to find 10 women total. So, from just my experience, it's lack of female players. Now, to contrast, what I do know is that Dealers are more leaning towards women. Or maybe it's just because I enjoy women dealers more.

LOLZ. I am scrolling through posts and I'm definitely noticing this trend that men are somehow superior to women at poker. This post though made me actually bust out a laugh! It's on point!

I see with concern, because so with women take a long time to conquer their spaces in society and so in poker is no different, I do not see big intellectual differences because there are women who play a lot, I think women tend to gain space in playing every more time !!

There's just not enough "volume" of women in poker. It's still variance and if there's 90% man there then the odds of women winning it are really small.

If there's a 9 man table with 1 women there she has 1:9 chance of wining it. Just simple odds.

Not going to bother reading this thread, but I do have a comment which may or may not have been posted earlier. I don't think you can look at the number of final tables or the number of bracelets won and say woman aren't as good at poker because of that. No one from Rhode Island has ever won a bracelet. Does that mean those people can't play poker well? Or does it just mean there are fewer of them in the field and so their odds of winning are less?
