Saw that. Pretty rough man. Then she picks up Kings the next hand and finds Queens to go up against, when she should be out, and now has a stack almost twice the average.

GG rex, the 95 hands was pretty brutal and would've put/kept you in good shape. Them are the breaks.

You guys ever go on here and see people posting like "just had a +5 buy-in session" so you're like, okay time to grind, but then you don't really want to grind at all and you start to feel like shit because you haven't made any money yet and you don't have any motivation to play at all but you feel compelled to grind because everyone on cardschat is making money and pwning and you aren't? :(

I show up about 9:30 for this (tourney starts at 8) because 1) tourneys tilt me and 2) the side cash games are generally more profitable. Anyway I walk in and Umbrella man and a few others are just putting chips on the table to start the cash game, so I had perfect timing. I buy-in for $50 and sit down to Zach's immediate left so I can have a little positional advantage.

I mostly folded for what seems like hours and marvel at Zach's amazing ability to dodge bullets (5 hands against him and not a single club in a 6-way all-in? rigged!). My biggest hand of the night is one of only a handful of limped pots. I have pocket 2s and limp behind a few limpers from the BTN. Flop is K2Q. It checks to me and I bet a couple bucks. Both blinds call. Everyone else folds. Turn is K, both blinds check, I bet $5 and they both call. The river is a J and again both blinds check. I bet $20, the small blind calls and the big blind raises for her last $25. I'm concerned about the bigger boat but I call as does the sb, although he doesn't seem hapy about it. SB show K3, BB shows K8, and I take the ~$160 pot.

I ended up winning ~$180 and had some fun so it was definately a good night out.

I was also there for the tourney. We started with around 66 folks, $50 buy in. I got down to the final 4 players and with equal stacks we decided to do a 4way split. I won $680 for the split.

I then went to the cash table and won another $120. .25/.50 I limped with QQ UTG and got 6 callers until WVHillbilly(limp hater) raised $5 after 2 callers infront of me I put another $20 ontop. I had one caller who is extremely loose. He fired away to try and get me out but could not get me off of my queens. It was a nice double up.(I had about $100 in my stack pre-flop)

After the original buyins I ended up about $700 up for the night.

Kleitches I thought you were grinding 5nl and 10nl solely?

To make "alot of money" there your either going to have to crush it bigtime or play a large volume like 75k something like that. You said in your blog that a few buy ins at 25nl means alot to you and thats why you dont play there. You have to get over the money side of things tbh and you only to that through experience at that level like belgo and FP were discussing yesterday.

Probably because SNGs are like death. That would be my guess anyway.

So I just finished a sweat with Enty, he was watching me play 4 tables of 25nl FR. I thought this guy was supposed to be good? He kept telling me to set mine OOP against a shortstack, saying "YOU'RE GONNA HIT, YOU'RE GONNA HIT!" Then when I fold, he ****ing berates me on skype, saying I'm stupid for not calling villian's 3-bet pf. Wow, worst session ever. Back to 5nl.
