How do you think or senseless losing money in poker is a good way of life, I'm not a professional poker player, I play only in free tournaments, if I can win something I'm very happy about it and if I lose it, nothing happened

While it’s true most people lose in poker, it is a game of skill so if you can master the craft you will become a great poker player.

It’s also a fun card game to play.

So I wouldn’t call it senseless. Just be smart about the amount of money you use to play. Since most wont win only use money you are ok with losing.

Poker is a recreational experience for me. I will admit that sometimes I dream of having enough of an income when retired to play the HPT circuit. That's about as far as it goes for me. I have a modest bankroll that I have accrued over the years via free rolls and have managed to maintain, and this is what I gamble.

You are absolutely right. It makes no sense to spend money on the game if you can actually win that money in freerolls. It is better to spend this money on a comfortable chair.

I play poker for about one year. Previously, I spent an average of 20-30 dollars a month. But now, thanks to freerolls, I accumulate experience and improve my game for free.

Nothing that brings you joy is senseless. Plus it’s hard to thing of it as senseless if you just won $10,000,000.

You can lose some money, a little, for fun. If you have any other hobbies, fishing, hunting, or anything else you will spend some money on them.
A little money is ok.

Most of people say that are playing poker for fun, but think that are country where the minimul salary is under 300e/month, so playing poker even freerols can add wery well to your budget, or even be your day to day job instead of working many hours from less money. So for some poker is fun, for others is a way of making money, depends of standars and life.

Everyone chooses their lifestyle. For me poker is my hobby, if my job did not enjoy it much

If you go to the restaurant once a week (4 times per month), might as well spend that money in a poker session once a month and hope to win some money. If you enjoy playing poker, it's just like any other hobby.

If you think about money and not about the game, you lose a hundred percent, but it’s not worth playing risky either.

You can try to play for money won in freerolls. If you lose money then it’s not scary. I rarely play in minor tournaments. Sometimes I get prizes. But still I play a little money.

Undoubtedly, freerolls are a great way to gain experience, improve skills, and besides, this is always a good opportunity to increase your bankroll. Therefore, to spend money on the game, in essence, it makes no sense.

Exactly what I was thinking.:D

for someone else it's just a game, for others the way to make money. Everyone decides for themselves. For me, this is a game where I relax

I have never deposited money on any site. I play freerolls to get a little money in my account, then play from there. Ive only got a couple hundred dollars spread between 3 sites right now, but that lets me play cash , touneys, or SnGs which ever I see as best value. I dream of hitting a big win, but I only play small amounts so I dont go broke. Maybe someday Ill build it up to a large amount. Until then its my main source of online entertainment. And its FREE.

I don't put all my eggs in one basket. As I have multiple income streams, I feel no pain losing my poker money. What hurts most is repeating a mistake.

At the moment I am losing money on poker but it is not a considerable amount. However, if a lot of money was going to come to my game, I think I would give up playing money.
