I have folded many a winning hand to an aggressive Russian, an aggressive Canadian, and an aggressive U.S. player. Aggressive players are my nemesis.

I saw many examples of aggressive game and it were not Russians why to discuss the nation in general if players are bad is everywhere.

Russians can surely be frustrating to play against, but maybe because there is such a high percentage of players from russia. Yes there are some very skilled russian players, but many donks too haha

Based on my experience the russian players are too agressive or they are playing too mad. It's very difficult to handle them because looks like they are playing without any concept.

They all read one book which is not published in the rest of the world! its a very rare and its impossible to get in any bookshop, the book about "How to play poker like Russian do"

Aggressiveness does not come from parents , but the level and the player's learning. I think every country has its aggressive players and their pros too.

Yesterday I again had a good experience with Russian on my desk in two situations.
First I in SB with AA being one the other sticks hearts open a raise of 3 times one big blind he UTG 1 call with 53 suited of hearts the flop comes 82Q of hearts he shove I call he's flush on the flop and I top pair with flush draw for nuts it safe and eliminates me the tournament

Second me in BB with AQ offsuit being an A of hearts Q of clubs open a 3-fold raise a big blind him in MP 1 all-in pre flop with 57 offsuit flop comes 64Q of hearts he's draw for sequence in I flop and top pair with flush draw for nuts on the turn he did not suffer in comes a 3 on the river is an 8 he follows and eliminates me the tournament

Eastern Europeans are the most aggressive in my opinion. Most of them play ultra-aggressive pre-flop if they get a chance..
