After a five years break I started to play poker again. In the first weeks I missed the U.S. players a lot. Saw russians everywhere and...yes, but now I like them. They are ok. (of course).
Its really nice that we can come from everywhere in the world and have a nice game together.

much I follow the way of playing of Russians, they have an ever-aggressive play, often can take you crazy,out this detail, are wonderful I'm studying a bit to learn to talk with them when we are playing

For me, the Russians and the Americans are the best poker players. I always see Russians in the finals of any tournament types , whether real or fictitious money, or low or high buy-in, and tournaments freerolls.

I don't really worry to much about where a player is from. I wait to pass judgement on a player till I've had a chance to observe their play at the table. There are donks and good players from all over the world!

I just play online poker on Pokerstars, many Russian players there seem to be pretty aggressive :S It's kinda unsettling cause you keep wondering if they actually are raising with good cards or not. Generally I try to keep the play tighter at first, until those ones who keep raising with anything are out, or try somehow to use their raising to my advantage when I hit the flop.

I think good chess players make good poker players. Russians have always been super-strong at chess. They work hard at it. I bet they give poker the same attention.

Brazilians and Russians are very agresive and most time very very lucky on the river. Just need to wait one good flop for you, and then you are sure you have somebody to answer your bet and pay you. Have in mind that they always play connectors or any suited cards, just to hit the flush, they miss the flop, and then they just bet agresive to take the pot.

Russians always play aggressive, often bluffing and trying to make you drop your hand.
We learn from the Russians WHAT we should not do when we play poker ...
I usually observe, and take notes when I play with Russians.
