One of the best ways to raise a bankroll is SnG 9-max! Basic knowledge and some discipline are enough to play in these tournaments!

I agree with most, cash games are a bit more stable but tournaments have the big payout if you happen to win one. I prefer tournaments personally.

probably cash or Guaranteed MTT's, however i don't play at cash tables but i hate that format.

I like cash games, but you have to carefully manage you bankroll to get through the variances you are likely to experience. For example, I had a day recently playing live that i did not win one of my flopped set. in ten hours of play I flopped 8 sets and lost all of them to flushes, full houses and quads one time to beat my full house. It cost me five buy ins that day.

For me the SNG games and the MTTs are most profitable, as I am not very much used to cash games. I love to play MTTs, but I also like to play the SNGs to take out the varicance to some extend and also when I have not so much time to play a full MTT.

In my opinion cash and MTTs can be good. With Cash you can increase you bankroll frequently and it will get higher and higher, if you play goog. In MTTs your bankroll will drop, but your winings will be much bigger.
I prefer MTTs, because I like the big wins.

Depends on many things...
Beginners usually do not have the the ability to stay focused for hours and therefor should start with SnG or cashgame with a strict time limit....

When You can keep up your best game for hours then tourneys offer a better Chance to win a lot fast if you are Lucky enough to get some top finishes...

When you start playing poker, you just have to enjoy the game and not think about how much you win. You’ll win little or nothing, but it’s worth taking part in the free tournaments first.

In my opinion, the most profitable poker format is multytable tournaments because the more tables the ara in tournament, the more money you can win.

I play MTTs and like them. They are easier to maintain good bankroll management as only your buyin is at risk and they provide opportunity to win big with small investment if you get lucky. I will also test some SNGs in future but cash game is not for me.

Well for those who are starting I think it is ideal to start with sit go because there you will start to have a notion of game, and with little study and a solid game you will beat the low limits fast. Once you have a certain volume and experience, along with the results, then you can migrate to MTTs, because the variance is much greater and you will face many more players, so you will have to adapt to that as well.
