Music When You Play

I don't listen to music while playing poker as I would find it distractive. I find it helpful to have the sound on in a poker room, so you can hear how the players are playing and when the cards are dealt etc. It keeps me more focused and provides some extra clues and the players.

This is a great idea to diversify the game, I highly recommend dynamic music. But I noticed that music can affect your actions, so if you want to play tight, listen to calm music, and if you're an aggressor at the table, then dynamic music is better.

I always listen to music while playing — the genre depends on my mood. It really helps during those stretches when the cards just aren’t coming and all you can do is sit and wait.

I rarely listen to music while I play poker...the reason is that I'm only going to play music I love, so I sometimes get so into the music, my focus on the poker game is lower. I sometimes listen to my music when playing freerolls.

Its good, I used to play listen to music a lot, I just turn off the music when want to really concentrate, but depending on the music it can even help to chill

I hear my normal music like german hip hop or some nice electro music. If i also have one tournament open i hear some podcast. If i play more tournaments at once i try to not hear a podcast so i could concentrate on the different tables. All normal things.
