Big tourneys and freerolls by their very nature are difficult to win. I went through a big phase of attempting to cash in these big tourneys. Win a sit and go - play a tourney. Done it for months. THEN BAM... Came second in a $5 buy in at stars against a field of 1500. Should have won it. But the $$ was over 800. Havnt really played them since.

Ive never looked back, cashed out 700 straight away, and now im back up to $900 on stars playing sit and gos and some ring games. Had a massive session of 2/4 one night. Dont hold out too much hope in the big MTT's until you are winning STT on a regular basis.

Just finished a Absolute Poker freeroll with 2000 entrants. I placed 197 today and yesturday in the 90's. Closest I ever made it was 20 and payout was 18 places. I should have just sat out for awhile and I would have made it.

Absolute poker freerolls are difficult to place in the money, let alone win. The closest I ever came was 39th place and I played for about 4 hours. If you have hours to kill, Absolute Poker freerolls are a great thing for that. Pokerstars freerolls are faster ending and they accept about 6000 players. Absolute only takes 2000 players.
