Decisions decisions. Should I play the Turbo Takedown this sunday or a live freerollament.

I qualified for a $1000 27 player freeroll at the casino. Places paid could be anywhere from a winner take all to a ten way split.

Just got my 2nd straight CC cash, and got 1 2nd out of 2 SNGs. If I can find time, I think I'm done with cash for good. I just can't play enough to overcome variance.

you do know that cash has the lowest variance of any holdem variation?

Well, to be honest, I haven't played cash NLHE in a long time. I've been mainly playing the limit games, with a little PL O8 thrown in for good measure. Playing the micro limits, I can't shake the donks that chase. They don't catch all the time, but they catch enough.

Perhaps I should say that I really need to study up more before I hit the cash tables again.

Of course this depends on how you play. ;) And how many are sitting at the table. Also which holdem. Ha.

For example Nosebleed Pot Limit Omaha HU seems quite swingy at least at the moment. ;)

The bet pot button bets the amount of money that would have been in the pot if the rake would not have been subtracted

I`d rather play Heads Up sngs than 9 handed double up

Yeah but the amount of tilt induced head banging against the wall tends to balance out with the low variance.

Sure, Switch, I am not disagreeing with you about the variance in cash games. In fact this is one of the main resons I prefer the cash game.

I was just sidetracking a little since even though I have never been much of a nosebleed rail-bird the recent action has made me into a bit of one and I find myself breathless and astonished at the fall of Tom Dwan, and I am not even sure variance was the major player here.

But long live the purity of cash. Dakota is gonna have to bake cookies to get me over to the dark side. ;)

So you think that durrrr is such a big underdog to isildur? I really don't think that his edge is that big against durrrr. Who knows what will happen in the future but the majority of nosebleed players happen to fall by the wayside eventually and it will only be a matter of time before we see if durrrr will join that already huge list of players.

Yeah nobody has a reasonable edge at those stakes. Especially at 500/1k PLO.

Not really. Gonna be a huge list of people willing to back durrrr if needs be so it's gonna be a hell of a long time before he leaves those games
