Do you prefer to play online or live? Explain why, including pros and cons.

Live. Not only is my ROI better but for me it's the social aspect of it. Playing online "for me" gets boring, so much so I always watch a film, YT or a stream while playing. I realise this is detrimental and a huge flaw in my game but it is what it is, grinding is boring!

it’s just more convenient to play online + you can afford to play at several tables at once, well, it’s not as stressful as offline, where you constantly have to hide your emotions during the hand in order not to give out information to your opponents

I actually only play online. I don't have the opportunity to play live. Online is a more convenient option for me. I play at home in the evenings after work. Comfortable and fun.

I’ve never played live (yet!) so think this will be a helpful thread to follow for ideas before I do play live. I do enjoy online though because I’m able to show my excitement or frustration without my opponents knowing which is something I will have to work on as well before ever playing live.

I prefer to play live. What do I know, it has another flavor.
The looks, the antics, the conversations with friendly players.
I have a problem, in my country in general the MTTs in places that are played are very expensive for me at least at this moment.
That's why I play online.
The advantages are for me to play online.
The MTTs are faster, at least I play maximum in 2 tables I only play MTT and SGN you have a bigger picture of the game (opponent stacks, table positions, position in the general table of the tournament, then the rest is the same.
I can also play tournaments at the time I have.

The benefits of playing online are obvious. You can play anytime from the comfort of your home. You don't have to wait for a game to be organized somewhere. You don't have to go anywhere, especially if you go to another country. The game is available around the clock regardless of the time zone.

Both have their appeal. Online is always available and you can play at your leisure from home. Live is also fun and a bit more exciting in my opinion, but you rarely get to play in normal everyday life, so I find the online version more comfortable overall.

I never played live in a casino.
I only have online experience. And as I am now taking the CardChat poker course; I am struggling. I have been going back to Day 1 to 5 about 3 times now.
I think I should learn about this before going to a casino. Pod odds.
