I really like the online platforms, even as people we can't get in touch in a deeper way, its still a great experience by the game itself. And we can add something human in it, its really nice.
I don't think you can catch such a huge variety of live games, so that's why I'm only thinking on them few in a lifetime chances. We will see tho how close can they be in the future to the simple guys like me.

I play online but would rather play live more. It's clear online, you're at home, you have a wide range of products available 24/7. Live makes it what it is! Sitting at the table with other players, chips and cards in hand, makes it more visually and emotionally intense. It's much more extensive.

Even if live poker is IMO the "real poker", I prefer playing online. Many reasons:
- I don't have a casino just on the corner

- I can find much more MTTs and SNG online than live... and I can skip from one to another
- It's possible to play from home which is a good thing for the family life
