When it's all about poker, I don't think there's much difference between live and online poker. But if you are a person who likes to talk at the tables then I can imagine that live poker is more fun for such people than online, but in the end it is both poker and there are the same possibilities or probabilities in both. The only difference I see is that many more hands are distributed online and that's why you see so-called impossible situations a little more often, which then remain impossible until you also meet them in live poker. It is often said that this or that winning hand would never have won in live poker, but when you play live poker or watch videos of it, you quickly realize that everything is possible and that there are no winning hands before the flop. I think it is more challenging to play live, online is similar, but to play live face to face is more challenging. I prefer to play online, it is very convenient and you can play anywhere you want relaxed. But I must admit that apart from playing live with friends, I am more and more wanting to play in one of the biggest live tournaments to test myself with other players at a higher level.

I think both are fun and challenging but they are different, live I think it requires more control and concentration but generates more adrenaline

It's interesting how the original question seems to imply that "Fun" and "challenging" are the same thing. Online is more fun (since it's convenient and you get to see a load more hands and you can play music and do other stuff while you're playing. Live is more Challenging, less hands to play so you have to make more of them and you have to hide your emotions and be at the table the whole time.

For me, I have more fun playing live. It is a way to socialize with people that I would never normally talk with. In that way, I have learned a lot from many different people. To learn and get better at poker, online is the only way to go. You get in more hands and situation to learn and improve your game.

playing live is much more stressful and difficult, in front of a screen you can hide your feelings of happiness when you have a good hand, anger when you get a bad bet or frustration when you don't complete the flush, straight or full on the turn or river.

I only play online, but I would like to have the experience of playing live tables by looking your opponent in the eye and seeing their reactions. The online game is interesting that we can play poker from anywhere.

I definitely prefer live. I love meeting people and I adore the tactile sensation of handling the chips and the cards. Not to mention the sounds of the table and the room. Another big plus is having my drinks served to me! LOL!!

Live poker is more fun than online poker. The only difference is the human factor and the focus on one table, unlike online, where you can play like a robot several tables with a strategy close to the GTO.

I just started playing offline freerolls at a poker club last week. But all the time i finished the game in the first minutes. But on the other hand, during the same time i won more than $100 in online freerolls ))

I don't "feel" yet an offline game as well as an online one. I don't have enough attention in offline games, sometimes i don't even notice limpers )))

I find it so much easier to keep track of what’s going on when playing online. Everything I need to see is right there in front of me. I can’t make a “technical” mistake because the software won’t let me.

I don’t have to drive an hour to get to the casino, or worse fly a few hours to get to Vegas. I can play whenever I want day or night.

If I don’t like the table talk I can just turn it off. If I don’t like the (cash game) table I’m at I can just switch tables.

The only thing missing is the social aspect. Of course, depending on who you may be sitting with, that’s not always a true negative, and may in some cases be a plus.

There’s an interesting article that compares live with online, although this may be more applicable to cash games:
