Hello! First of all, I know that no pair is more likely than another. It's just for fun.
So what is for you the pair that almost always connects set?

For me it's 66. Maybe there is some satanic message in it, but I'm always happy to get a pair of 66

I'll go 33 and 77 for the religious connotation. Just for the opposition of the 66 set.

Got beat on a set of 6's on a 4 5 suited straight. Figured I deserve the bad luck with that hand.

All this is not serious. You can arbitrarily choose any starting hand for yourself, and sometimes it will win at a distance. Once a year and a stick shoots! My year of birth is 1966, and sometimes I play a pair of sixes as a pair of aces!

it's funny you say that.. i hit the set with 6s often too

lately Js have hit a few times as well.. I used to hit the 2s all the time, but been folding them lately.. not sure why, but they died.

I like 99 and seem to connect with it quite a lot. 10 10 looks good but not for me it isn't. There is no valid reason for it, just how it goes for me

I can tell you for a fact that all of my pocket pairs have flopped a set once out of every eight times. I miss 87.5% of the time.

I won $1k ticket on line with that hand, against a Pro of PartyP

(buy in to play a live tournament in my country).
Hand:
With the blinds high and some medium-short stack, I open raise with 66, the pro 3bet me strong preflop/ I called / appeared 6 on Flop / I bet 1/3 pot :icon_pira and he shoved to me with KK

Nice memory of set of 6, but the 5 set appear often too.

Be careful with 66. I once knew a guy who sold his Soul in order to hit a set every time he played 66. He hits a set every time.... and loses. Now some one owns his Kia. And the bank has his house.

I'm not gonna be original but the pair which almost always getting paid is AA. I don't like play KK cos very often i getting A in the flop. Also like JJ. With this pair game is very interesting.

I would go for Kings, but I mostly play Omaha, so things are deeply different and hitting a set is not such a huge deal.

Surely Diamond hits more flushes though!

The best pair without a doubt for me is AA because I know that I will win many times with him, now for the mystical side of my thing my lucky pair is 77, I always lock with him mainly when I move all in and get paid by a bigger pair. LOL

I think that everyone is happy to get a pair of AA, but for some reason I like to play when I have a pair of KK, this is probably due to the fact that the pair of AA I was very often disappointed
