I definitely played much more during the initial lockdown in march, april and may. Now with the second wave of restrictions i still play more than previous year at that time but not not by much.

I don’t know about more poker but definitely a lot more online poker. I’ve actually improved at online play tremendously the last few months. My roi online has probably quadrupled since the pandemic started.

I learned to just slow down and play conservatively. Even when I am able to be home longer, I find pacing myself at the tables, helps me to win. It's like the casino/poker is teasing me to win here and there, and then I lose it all! Makes me wonder how fair the sights are!

Yes, of course! This may turn out to be the ‘Golden Age” of online poker. Let’s try to stay positive for a second and take an objective look at this situation.
1. People are staying home
2. Internet usage is off the chart
3. casinos are closed or restricted (No live poker)
So I have a feeling that online poker may have some large influx of new players. Anything is possible.

cant go to the movies , many dining establishments are closed , recreation centers too ,live attendance at pro sporting events is forbidden or severely curtailed and my older friends dont even feel safe meeting for in person chess or backgammon !
