In a couple of wsop events over the years. I honestly can't remember which, but I think one was $5k NL. Fun guy to talk to, we got a long like brothers... but I wouldn't let him get any info even though he buddied up very artfully. lol

I actually haven't played against Ivey. He's probably one of the few I haven't.

I've been around awhile, so between live and online play, I've played against most "big name" players at some point or another. I don't play online high stakes anymore, so I don't battle with any of those guys anymore. But live, especially at WSOP, and other high buy-in tourney events, WPT, etc.. you eventually play against most top pros.

I like phil helmuths way of thinking.Read he s book first.I like phils ivey s internet play and daniels live table play.

Daniel is a better all around player he has experience in heads us in tournaments and in mamy types of games.He is one of the most respected players of all time

Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey are my favorite poker players followed by Durr and the Magician.

I would say I idolize Ivey's skill set the most but I enjoy watching Daniel and Tom play the most.

That's my opinion : They both are the best players ever, Daniel Negreanu is best, but he is much better tournament player, but Phil Ivey is much better in cash games. But if they play tournament heads ups or cash heads ups - Ivey would win on long distance.

Daniel is a very disciplined player who can process information extremely quickly.
This is the edge that I think makes him the better player.
