There are many advantages. For exmaple, on the computer is possible to play more tables, pick up informations, screen is larger, more stable connection, besides being more comfortable.

I have not yet seen a convenient interface for a smartphone to play more than one table / tournament at a time. All such options are extremely uncomfortable. So my choice is PC, if you need mobility, take a good laptop.
pokerstars and 888 have 'autoswitch' as a setting in tables which means your phone will immediately switch to the table demanding action after you take it on another.

Do not complain, smartphone is cheaper and you can MT

Set 'autoswitch' (which is default in most games) for cash game tables. It switches you automatically to the table demanding your action. You can 100% multitable with a smartphone, don't complain that you can't afford a computer.

In this thread I see whiny people, whining is the trait of the fish.

It is not worse at all, your fingers are just not nimble enough. Train.

I always play on my desktop so I can play multiple tables. Sometimes I wish I had started a tournament on my phone instead though because I will have to leave and then I am stuck hoping I don't get booted while sitting out lol

Thanks, but I meant - it's a convenient interface, not the ability to play several tables. Of course, if you play only for fun and you do not care about the result ... Convenient - when all the tables are visible at the same time and you can follow the game of opponents, who is playing. This is all the more important, because on the smartphone we do not have HUD.

When I play on mobiles, I can't get focus on poker.
Some times I see TV while play or stay eating, it's easy getting disturbed by anything.
When I play on my notebook, 100% focus, better for my bank account :D

When traveling and i want to pass time, i usually play using my smartphone.

If im aiming for profit. nothing beats a PC. Running a HUD and playing multiple tables is the way to go.

Of course, you can play it where you want. But not sure, what,s the point to play poker on smartphone. Small screen, also if you will play serious cash game - you can have troubles with lags, so this is not the best way to play poker, as it seems for me. Only notebook or PC is my choice.

I usually use my PC so I can, not only multi table, but multi poker sites. I do not use my phone, but I occasionally use my ipad to play Pokerstars only when my wife wants the computer. I find that there is a big difference in what I can access on the Pokerstars site with my PC vs. my tablet.

I prefer playing on my mobile as it's nice simple and I can take it anywhere if it turns out to be a long game

Smartphone Apps are getting much better. But if you're grinding, you need a computer set up.
