I have never in my life played poker drunk, I think it is a bad idea to do it, that's why it is a great lesson that you have learned, you lost a lot of money in a couple of hours because of your state, very good that you have recognized your mistake and that you never make it again, because it is very true, nobody wins at poker drunk, on the contrary you lose a lot.

Playing drunk usually just means losing money. I'm not against alcohol, within reason, but playing poker while drunk is irresponsible, primarily to yourself and your bankroll.

Being drunk gives u a false feeling that u r unstoppable. I played more aggressive and never folded. So to loose it takes very short period of time.

drinking has helped me and screwed me up too... you never know where drinking can take you, I stopped smoking it was getting in the way to the singing, now I'm training to stop drinking. the annoying thing is that when i lose i wont be able to blame the drink lol

A little drunk may help, I almost always drink a coffee with some alcohol before the CC Tournaments to keep patient, but playing drunk has never resulted in winnings
